We describe every product's sensing technology precisely — photoelectric smoke chambers, electrochemical CO sensors, 10-year sealed lithium or replaceable 9V/AA batteries — as labeled on each product page. Photographs are representative; housing finishes vary slightly, which is a feature of genuine manufacturing, not a defect.
Alarms are life-safety devices: follow the included manual and your local fire code for placement and installation. An alarm is a detection and warning device, not a fire or CO prevention guarantee — test monthly and replace units per their date stamps.
All alarms carry a 90-day warranty against manufacturing defects, covering sensor failure, horn defects and missing components. The warranty excludes damage from improper installation, water exposure, and normal battery depletion.
